Where stories live in spaces, in snapshots, and in all the beautiful in-betweens.

At Sol, life isn’t about checking boxes. It’s about living fully, honoring your story, and creating (or clearing) space for what matters most. Whether it’s through the lens of a camera or the heart of a home, from spontaneous joy to sacred endings, everything I do is rooted in authenticity, meaning, and transformation. I’m here to honor your story with depth, with beauty, with presence, and yes, with a little grit when needed.

Welcome to Sol

Hey!! I’m Carly, a Licensed creative curator and recovering perfectionist who’s spent the last 20 years shaping memories through light, texture, and memory. I’ve been immersed in creativity: styling, dreaming, capturing. Some of that was rooted right here in Alabama. Some came from wandering and soaking up culture, landscapes, and the kind of quiet that changes you. But no matter where I go, the heartbeat stays the same:

People. Story. Legacy.

It started with a camera and a heart that sees the world through feeling, not just vision. For years, one click at a time, I’ve helped people capture magic and meaning through my lens, freezing moments they don’t want to forget before they fade. As a lifestyle photographer I chase the unposed: the belly laughs, the quiet pauses, the fleeting glances that say more than words ever could. It’s all about presence, not perfection. No stiff poses. No fake smiles. It’s catching people as they are - unguarded, uninhibited, unforgettable. It’s never just about the photo. It’s about what’s reaL, raw, and radiant. What’s felt. What’s worth remembering.

But the more stories I’ve helped preserve, the more I’ve felt this ache and have found myself drawn to the other side of the story too. What stories do those spaces hold, what treasures are left behind after the story: the rooms where things were changing, the trinkets in boxes being let go, the memories behind the dust. What story happens before the photo? What story happens after the moment?

And I realized, I wasn’t just a photographer.

I was a witness. A curator. A translator. A guide.

So, I expanded. And that same soul-led philosophy shows up in my estate sales and home organization work, too. It's not just about letting go of things, it’s about honoring the life that lived within those walls, creating space for the next chapter, and making hard transitions feel a little more human. Be it that you’re parting with a lifetime of belongings, clearing space for clarity, or helping a loved one move on with grace, my goal is to help you navigate it all with intention, compassion, and respect.

I believe that every season deserves to be seen and supported — No matter if it's documented in photographs or handled with care through life's transitions. If you’re seeking someone who isn’t afraid to roll in the dirt with your toddler one day, Then dig through your basement and organize your grandma’s vintage Pyrex like it’s the crown jewels the next, I'm your girl. So, let’s celebrate your story — in images, in spaces, and in every step forward, too.
